Hello! Allow us to introduce you to the NMMGA! We are a growing organization dedicated to promoting, producing, marketing, and exhibiting meat goats in the state of New Mexico. In the past, we have sponsored sales, clinics, shows, newsletters, "add-ons" for 4-H/FFA sale goats, educational presentations, and distributions of educational literature. In the future, our aim is to expand on any or all of the above activities in accordance with our members' needs. We have quarterly meetings in the months of January, April, July, and October. Annual elections of Board members occur at the July meeting. Times and locations are determined by the membership; most recently our meetings have been at the Ranchers Sale Barn in Belen, New Mexico. All major decisions are finalized by the membership at these meetings, with minor details being decided by the Board between times. The board meets on an as needed basis at the JB's Restaurant on Eubank and I-40 in Albuquerque. Interested parties should contact the office by phone or email lkwilson@thuntek.net. Guests are always welcome at these meetings!

We are currently Focusing on two events every year. We will be holding a Goat Auction every April. We are also very proud of co-sponsoring with the USBGA, the Boer Show and Market Jackpot during the State Fair every September.
